General Instructions

Dear clients and patients,

I light of the current COVID-19 situation we have amended the way the practice works:

We are still seeing our clients and their animals strictly by appointment only. Please try to find the time for a quick call even if your pet suffers an urgent emergency, so we can try to get prepared. All Walk-in- and vaccination clinics stay cancelled. When you bring your animal to the surgery be aware that we can still not allow any members of the public in the building. We will come out and see you and take your pet indoors. If possible stay with your car, keep the entrance door clear and wear a face mask.

We are performing all our usual routine and emergency operations. We will also see your animal for non life threatening conditions and procedures (e.g. anal gland problems, vaccinations etc.), just give us a call on 01398 323632 and we will do our utmost do give you an appointment at a time convenient for you. Our phone lines can get extremely busy, please leave a message if your call does not get answered immediately, we w i l l get back to you as soon as possible.

All medications still have to be ordered in advance and paid for by BACS or card payment over the phone. We will then make arrangements for you to collect your order from a designated place.

A postage service can also be arranged for those who are self isolating or shielding.

May we take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and patience during these challenging times.

Please take care and stay healthy.

Your team at Dulverton Vets

Good to know

Covid-19 latest

We have received a lot of positive feedback from our clients regarding our appointment system which has been in place since the start of the pandemic. The main advantages of this system other than keeping us all safer, are:
  • no overcrowding of the car park
  • reduced waiting times
  • less stress for the animals
We therefore decided as a practice to stick to our appointment only system and not to return to open surgeries even in a post pandemic environment.

Repeat Prescriptions

We can be extremely busy at times, so if we have seen your pet within the last 6 months, please ring or email us with your request and we will have it ready for you when you arrive. We would also kindly ask you to order flea and tick treatments in advance to minimise waiting times. Thank you. Tel:01398 323285

Please ring us during opening times (9:00am -5:00pm), if possible 24 hours in advance, in case your prescription needs to be ordered in.
