We would like to thank Nora Maw, our receptionist, for all her hard work. She was always a pleasure to work with and we wish her all the best on her retirement. We would like to take this opportunity to announce the new addition to our team: Emma Luxton. Emma has taken over from Nora and works Tuesdays and Wednesdays at reception. Welcome to Dulverton Vets, Emma!
We are pleased to inform you that we have now restarted our vaccination clinics which take place every Thursday between 12pm – 1pm.
These clinics are strictly by appointment only.

We need to know what kind of animal is involved, what symptoms are obvious and what happened.
As you might be aware, the compulsory microchipping of cats is going to happen in 2023. All cat owners face a similar scenario as the dog owners.

Read moreThis spring the practice has purchased a multiwave laser machine and we have started to perform laser therapy on a number of patients. The laser is synchronizing continuous and pulsed emissions of different wavelengths to achieve a high peak power without undesired thermal effects. In short: this therapy is risk free for your animal, but can help reducing inflammation, oedema, chronic and acute pain by stimulation of the natural self healing potencies of every body cell.
The treatment does usually not take more than 10 minutes, the owner is staying with the pet and the sessions are by appointment only, once we have worked out the best laser protocol for the condition to be treated.
If you like more information about this, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.
